Re-launch
Kenn Valley Young Farmers' Club (YFC) re-launched in September 2013. It forms part of Haldon Group along with the clubs; Bow, Chagford, Cheriton & Tedburn, Newton St. Cyres and Okehampton.
Haldon is one of six groups with in Devon YFC. Kenn Valley YFC is based in the area between Dawlish and Exeter, with meetings held in various halls in local villages.
Kenn YFC has become a very active club already, participating in most county competitions. We are 40 members strong, and our chosen charities to raise money for this year is FCN and Facial Palsy. We've raised over £3000 for these 2 charities so far!

Members
Young Farmers is for ages 10-26 (on the 1st September)
Kenn Valley YFC has approximately 40 members at the moment, and a very broad age range. No matter the age there is a place for everyone with in the club.
Membership Fees
A membership year starts on 1st September and end 31st August the following year.
Over 18s (including 18 year olds): £30
Under 18s: £25
Associate member (over 26): £20
Each member needs to fill out a membership form and return it to the club at the start of each YFC year along with their membership fee.
Under 18s also have to fill in a parental consent form and return it to the club. Any new members need a copy of either their driving licence, passport or birth certificate to verify their age.

Speaking Competitions
Stand up and speak!
One of the best things about YFC is the places you see and the people you meet. . .
Competitions are a great way of meeting new people, and building your confidence at the same time.
Our very own Sport's Secretary, Ross Thomson, has gone all the way to National's on the Devon's Senior Debating team!
After winning at South West Area, and coming second at the Southern Finals. We wish him all the best of luck in July!
